Don McKinzie
Engineer/Producer/Studio Owner

Don Mckinzie is entering his 26th year as a recording engineer and producer. He began his audio production career as a teenager, participating in shows for his high school radio station in Lafayette, Indiana. He later went on to study music education, music performance and audio engineering at Indiana State University. After his college years he moved to Atlanta to continue his engineering work, recording many local and regional music groups at 2560 Recording Studios. In 1986 he began engineering/producing for the critically acclaimed Coast to Coast Top Twenty radio program. In the capacity of chief engineer for American Media Services he pioneered the use of digital audio workstations for radio syndication. He also engineered and/or produced such memorable programs as "MLK family scrapbook", Footsteps to Freedom", "Moments in Family Literacy", "Morning Memory", "Girltalk", "Dream Concert 90", and many more. Other independent syndication work includes engineering and/or producing for such programs as "Inspirations Across America", Your Personal Finance with Charles Ross", "Real Life Radio", "Jazzin' Up!", "Focus On Women", and "Starsigns". In 1991 Don constructed McMix Recording Studios a State-of-the-Art recording facility in Smyrna, Ga. In 1996 Don gave his studio over to the Lord and has since been blessed to have risen to the top of the production ranks in Gospel music. Recent clients include: Evangelist Dorothy Norwood, "Queen of Gospel" Albertina Walker, James Bignon, Derrick Lee, Angela Spivey, Regina McCrary, Prince Yelder and Disciples for Christ, Timothy Flemming and the Mt. Carmel Mass Choir, Ben Hill UMC Mass Choir, Freedom Temple Full Gospel Mass, Mt Moriah Baptist Mass Choir, Harold Holloway and Co. Maurice Rogers & Unity, Tag Team ("Whoomp! There it is....."), Dionne Farris ("I Know", "Wild Seed, Wild Flower"), Freddie Cole, Apha Records Japan, Malaco Music Group, Sony Music Group, Columbia Records, Adore Thee Records, Bellmark Records, God's Strength Records, Success Records, and many local and regional artists. Corporate clients include PBS, Coca-Cola, Easy Rental, AT&T, BellSouth, Financial Media Services, Anderson Communications, Crosley Communications, American Media Services, Atlantic Records, and local and regional ad agencies and industrial filmakers
Don lives in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife Sheila and their dog, Pierre.

Richard Wells is entering his 25th year as a professional recording and mixing engineer. He has earned several Gold and Platinum awards, and has worked with such luminaries as Peabo Bryson, The SOS Band, Arrested Development, Jermaine Dupri, Paul Davis, Brick, Speech, as well as the critically acclaimed "Inspirations Across America" and "Joy for the World-Americas Best Gospel" radio programs.

Adrian White is a graduate of The Music Business Institute and a professional drummer (past Grand Champion of the MARS Music Drum-Off). Adrian is the in-house assistant engineer and is a fine music producer in his own right. Well versed in Gospel and Jazz, Adrian plays in several local and regional groups and is the Music Director for James Bignons' touring group. As an engineer he currently works sessions at MPS.
